Hayes Valley is not a valley. The streets are flat and there are no hills around the neighborhood. It’s a delightful example of a walkable neighborhood where beer gardens adorned with umbrellas are tucked behind cafés. There are handmade ice cream shops that offer pastel-colored macarons thereby tempting passersby. With so much to offer, Hayes Valley is undoubtedly one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live in.
